This is my attempt to create a realistic yet artistic weathered copper statue with blue-green tarnish produced by oxidation. I began and finished the whole sculpting process in Zbrush . I started off without any concept or drawing, But in the end I sought Mayan inspiration to finish the sculpting . I used Maya for laying out the Uv. I used Substance Painter to finish texturing the asset. Trying to create a beat up, Oxidized Copper Patina look from scratch in Substance Painter was a challenge . But I think I achieved close to what I had in mind. These images were rendered with Substance Painter Iray Renderer.
